Coffman Engineers is seeking a Structural CAD Drafter/Designer for our Portland office. The successful candidate will assist in creating drawings and project documents from information provided by engineers using various computer-aided design (CAD) and building information modeling (BIM) platforms such as AutoCAD, Revit, etc. They will be responsible for independently completing design and drafting assignments, ensuring a high level of quality and on-time delivery.

Requirements

3 or more years’ experience in drafting and design (experience in structural buildings and framing preferred).; Technical or associate degree in engineering or related sciences preferred.; Posses advanced CAD, layout, and BIM skills.; Experienced with the latest release of AutoCAD and REVIT design tools.; Possess computer skills necessary for daily activities including email, word processing, spreadsheets, BlueBeam, and graphics.; Able to work with numerous project teams to help with project completion.; Works from detailed sketches to produce computer-generated graphs, charts, overlays, and simple isometric drawings.
