Support Worker for a Young Person

My client Jamie is 16 with a diagnosis of Autism. He works better with males. He has some anxiety around noise so prefers to avoid busy situations, particularly those where lots of young children may be.

Responsibilities

Support young person in the home and gain independence; Take to activities such as cinema and country walks

Requirements

Experience of working with young people with autism; Non-smoker; Must have use of own vehicle; Calm and patient personality; Responsible, reliable, and trustworthy; Excellent timekeeping; Good communication and social skills; Respect confidentiality and privacy; Full UK driving license; Own personal car; Must be happy around a dog; Appointment subject to DBS check
