Support Worker

As a Care By Us Care Assistant, you'll deliver award winning care to support our clients in their own homes to maintain their independence, dignity and self-worth. You will be looking after service users on a one to one basis.

Responsibilities

Follow individual care plans; Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, managing incontinence, using the toilet and supporting with medication; Help with practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes and housework; Companionship - being a friendly face and preventing loneliness; Personal Care - all aspects of personal hygiene; Medication - collecting prescriptions and providing reminders; Mealtimes - preparing tasty meals; Housekeeping - keeping their home just the way they like it; Mobility - help with getting around

Requirements

Car driver/owner is essential; Compassion; Resilience; A willingness to learn

Previous experience in a care assistant role
