Equipped to handle the highest stakes appeals in forums across the country, this team provides clients the agile counsel necessary to tackle substantial, multilayered challenges. In this practice, the team briefs and argues complex appeals, develops and executes sophisticated legal strategies before trial courts, and designs strategic affirmative litigation – often involving the Administrative Procedure Act and other significant claims against local, state, and federal government entities. As an elected member of the firm’s Management Committee, the practice chair helps shape the firm’s vision and growth. Responsibilities

Focus on Supreme Court & Appellate Litigation as well as Government & Regulatory Litigation; Brief and argue complex appeals; Develop and execute sophisticated legal strategies before trial courts; Design strategic affirmative litigation – often involving the Administrative Procedure Act and other significant claims against local, state, and federal government entities
