Systems Engineer Sr- Workspace One

Formulates and defines specifications for complex operating software programming applications, or modifies and maintains complex existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturer. Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents those programs. Usually responsible for applications dealing with the overall operating system, such as sophisticated file maintenance routines, large telecommunications networks, computer accounting and advanced mathematical /scientific software packages.

Responsibilities

Formulates and defines specifications for complex operating software programming applications or modifies and maintains complex existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturer; Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents those programs; Plans, schedules, and coordinates complex system software installations and upgrades for systems implemented; Creates tasks, work estimates, and resource requirements on those tasks; Provides responsive support to clients, technical, administrative, and other departmental personnel; Evaluates new and existing software products and develops plans, recommends solutions and provides for maintenance, testing, documentation and training for operating systems and hardware; Works with vendors on system installation and setup; Acts as a technical escalation point with vendors and staff to coordinate application software and hardware changes; Monitors system performance, makes recommendations, and takes appropriate action to ensure best performance per utilization of computer resources

Requirements

Experience with JAMF, Workspace One and Imprivata MAM; Working knowledge of Mobile Device Management platforms (Workspace One, Jamf-Pro, Apple DEP, and Samsung Knox); Need to understand mobility as it pertains to Teams and Exchange policies; High School Diploma or GED required; Requires a high degree of proficiency in verbal and written communications; Must be available for callback support on a regular basis, extensive evening and weekend hours due to schedules at times for conversions, training required; Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs
