Tax Specialist VAT Refund

This position is based in Mexico City and offers a rare opportunity to be part of the establishment of IKEA in a whole new market. Responsibilities

Prepare and submit VAT refund requests; Perform accounting data reconciliations for accurate submission to the SAT

Requirements

Mastery of the VAT Law - solid experience in determining credit balances, accreditation and deduction requirements; Hands-on experience with the Electronic Refund Form (FED) through the SAT portal; Ability to respond to SAT information and documentation requirements derived from refund requests; Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting or related field; 2 to 4 years of professional experience in tax or fiscal compliance; Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis); Hands-on experience with Electronic Refund Forms (FED) and SAT portal systems; Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; Capacity to analyze large volumes of information; Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
