Join us as a Technical Expert – Offshore Structures Regulations, based in La Défense or Nantes. Join a dynamic team: Within the Development Department of our Technical Division, you will play a key role in developing our technical and regulatory expertise in the field of floating offshore structures (Oil & Gas and floating wind). You will be part of an international and collaborative environment, contributing to the evolution of our rules and supporting the offshore technologies of tomorrow.

Responsibilities

Identify technical and regulatory development needs in collaboration with internal teams and industry stakeholders; Develop classification rules related to the structural aspects of offshore units, based on technical analyses and operational feedback; Contribute actively to the revision and enhancement of classification rules addressing structural topics, in connection with R&D initiatives; Provide technical support to operational and commercial teams.

Requirements

Engineering degree or significant experience in offshore engineering, a design office, or a classification society; Strong understanding of floating offshore structures design, mechanics of materials, finite element analysis, and structural behavior; You are rigorous, autonomous, a strong team player, and demonstrate excellent analytical and synthesis skills; Fluent in English, both written and spoken, enabling effective communication with clients, teams, and our international network; Proficient in digital tools, with strong writing and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

Experience in offshore metallic structures or floating wind projects is an asset; Familiarity with classification rules - ideally those of Bureau Veritas - is appreciated.
