Transport Operations Support

Transport Operations Support will provide general administration support to the Transport Department.

Salary : £31,687.53 per annum.

Shift: 5 on 2 off nights, 19.00-03.30

Responsibilities

Correctly debriefing drivers.; Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly.; Scanning and storing PODs using Culina’s document management system.; Preparing drivers’ wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information.; Printing all despatch notes and replenishing despatch paper as required.; Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries.; Downloading drivers’ cards / tachographs.; Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services.; Consistently updating all spreadsheets including, but not limited to, change-overs, run summaries and trailer check sheets.; Departing loads using Transport Management System (TMS).; Ensuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads.

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role.; Attention to detail/ accuracy.; Excellent communication skills in order to deliver accurate information.; Able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.; Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines.; Computer literate, particularly MS Office applications i.e. PowerPoint, Word, Excel or equivalent.; Able to work as part of a team or individually.; Able to work effectively and communicate to the correct level.
