UR Home Healthcare Advancement Director

UR Home Healthcare Director, Advancement is the key fundraiser in support of University of Rochester Medicine Home Healthcare (Home Healthcare), which since 1919 has been a regional leader in proving high quality, compassionate health care in the comfort and convenience of home.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive, strategic fundraising program for URochester Medicine Home Healthcare; Act as strategic fundraising partner with the CEO of Home Healthcare; Identify, cultivate, solicit and steward major gift prospects and donors; Manage a portfolio of approximately 100 major gift prospects; Manage corporate and foundation relationships, including submission of approximately 7-10 grant requests and corporate proposals per year; Oversee the Home Healthcare Foundation staff and operations, including Foundation Board; Oversee special activities in collaboration with URochester Medicine Constituent Engagement team; Continuously update prospect management database with donor strategies, contacts and results; Serve as Advancement liaison to the Home Healthcare Board of Directors

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree required; Minimum of 7 years of proven major gifts fundraising experience required; Equivalent combination of education and experience; Excellent communication and collaboration skills required; Demonstrated experience cultivating and soliciting prospects capable of gifts at the $50k+ level required; Broad knowledge of the gift cycle required; Leadership and direct management experience required; Experience with Salesforce CRM or comparable platform required

Nice to have

Master's Degree preferred; Experience preferably within higher education, academic medicine, and/or healthcare
