Vice President, Branch Leader - Austin, TX

Leader of a Fidelity branch team who educates the local market, drives national initiatives and grows local business. As one of the key leaders in the Investor Center, drives branch performance through talent development, operational excellence, and strategic leadership, and works alongside the VP, Branch Leader to build and lead strategies for associates and business. Branches offer a full range of investment products and services to individual mutual fund and brokerage customers, including personal, needs-based investment guidance, wealth management, retirement planning, income strategies, and college planning services. Responsibilities

Educate the local market to drive national initiatives and grow local business through in-branch customer meetings, informative seminars, lead utilization, and client appreciation; Drive branch performance through talent development, operational excellence, and strategic leadership; Recruit, mentor, and coach associates to strengthen team capabilities and foster a high-performing culture; Run branch infrastructure, including lobby and operational technology, back-office processing, and quality assurance; Build and lead strategies with the VP, Branch Leader to develop associates and their business; Ensure high levels of customer happiness while cultivating revenue

Requirements

5+ years in financial sales role; Active Series 9/10, 7, and 66 licenses; Insurance license; All-encompassing brokerage and mutual fund knowledge and expertise in financial planning; Contagious enthusiasm for hiring, mentoring, and developing new branch associates; Inspired by passion for working collaboratively, improving productivity, and implementing ideas; Ability to coordinate and support cross-company partnerships and regional corporate relationships that lead to business opportunities; Positive attitude, empowering business professionalism and strong work ethic with high level of integrity

Nice to have

Bachelor's Degree highly preferred; CFP highly preferred; 3+ years of financial services management is helpful
