Voice Talent Required - Cantonese (female) - Remote

We are looking for professional or semi-professional voice talents with a passion for language and technology for an exciting project. Voice characteristics: female, mature (~35–55 years old), natural rather than polished/robotic, retaining natural pauses, disfluencies, and natural word emphasis. Personality and tone should be conversational, likeable, natural, intelligent, confident, and trustworthy. Speech should be easy to follow, clear, and at a consistent, moderate pace with natural pauses. Independent contractor role with flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

Record natural-sounding voice content for an AI and language technology project; Follow specified technical recording requirements; Meet fast-turnaround delivery deadlines when engaged

Requirements

Native speaker of the target locale (Cantonese); Experience with voice acting, narration, podcasting, or streaming; Access to a home recording setup (recording software, microphone, headset/speakers, audio interface, professional digital audio workstation, software, plugins); Treated space, quiet environment, free from background noise, music, clicks, muffling; Able to follow specific technical recording requirements (volume level, file naming, format, gaps between segments, audio quality); Able to provide demo, sample recordings, voiceover samples; Comfortable with fast-turnaround projects and tight delivery deadlines when engaged; Open to licensing your voice for AI voice cloning / TTS training; Female voice, mature (~35–55 years old), natural rather than polished/robotic; Possible test in the module, then vetting against all requirements
