WABO Special Inspector

The ideal Inspector will be WABO certified, preferably structural steel and post tensioned concrete. Responsibilities

Conduct applicable inspections as scheduled; High proficiency with verbal and written communication; Ability to read, interpret and understand project specifications and drawings; Prepare timely and accurate reports and documentation of field activities and testing results; Accuracy, attention to detail and timeliness of results is essential

Requirements

WABO certification required; Basic awareness of problem solving and decision-making skills; Ability to accomplish work within required timelines, including short, long and emergency timeframes; Ability to follow written and verbal instructions; Excellent communication skills; Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds one a regular basis; Familiarity with construction practices and materials testing; Valid driver's license upon hire; Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Nice to have

Preferably structural steel and post tensioned concrete; Preferred certifications including ICC (multiple categories), ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician Grade I, Radiation Safety/Nuclear Density Gauge, WSDOT/WAQTC, CWI, NACE and other materials related certifications
