Warehouse Manager

Our client is a well-established New Zealand food manufacturing business, producing trusted products for the local and export market. With a strong focus on food safety, quality and operational excellence – the business continues to invest in its people and systems as it grows. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Warehouse Manager will lead the day-to-day operation of the finished goods and raw materials warehouses. You’ll own inventory accuracy, DIFOT performance and food safety compliance, while building a high performing warehouse team that supports production and overall business objectives.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day warehouse operations across receipt, storage, picking and dispatch; Drive DIFOT, inventory accuracy and food safety and quality compliance; Plan labour and resources to meet production schedules and customer delivery timeframes; Lead, coach and develop the warehouse team, embedding a strong safety-first culture; Manage cycle counts and stock takes, investigating and resolving variances; Oversee WMS master data, warehouse equipment and pallet management; Support GMP/HACCP and MPI audits, driving corrective actions to completion; Identify and implement continuous improvement across warehouse processes and systems

Requirements

Proven warehouse leadership experience; Continuous Improvement mindset and a Health and Safety focus; Confident people leader with a track record of managing performance and engagement in a busy operation; Forklift / Reach license

Nice to have

Food manufacturing or FMCG experience; Experience with MPI audits and GMP/HACCP environments
