Wellness Partner (Casual)

Our Wellness Partners are at the heart of enriching the lives of our residents, doing everything with kindness and purpose. Each day you will work in partnership with residents to support their personal care needs and encourage resident-led decision making in their eating, resting, movement, communication, and activities. Wellness Partners encourage our residents to maintain skills and a sense of independence. Resident welfare is important, and you will also be required to observe, accurately document, and communicate health conditions. Participation in ongoing training is expected. We are looking for a casual superstar that can work a range of shifts and departments.

Responsibilities

Work in partnership with residents to support their personal care needs; Encourage resident-led decision making in eating, resting, movement, communication, and activities; Encourage residents to maintain skills and a sense of independence; Observe, accurately document, and communicate health conditions; Participate in ongoing training; Work a range of shifts and departments

Requirements

Enjoyment in interacting with older people; Commitment to a high standard of performance with diligence and care; Ability to work within a team; Honesty, integrity, high energy, physical fitness, and enthusiasm; Good customer service, organisation, and problem-solving skills; Availability to work rostered shifts including weekends and nights; NZQF Level 2 or 3 qualification, or at least two years' of relevant experience (ANZSCO Skill Level 4) for Arvida Level 1 to Level 3; NZQF Level 4 qualification or at least three years' experience (ANZSCO Skill Level 3) for Arvida Level 3 to Level 4; Evidence of English test is required if from overseas
