X-Ray/DEXA Technologist

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams with correct technique and positioning; evaluate your own images for technical quality; produce diagnostic-grade results that physicians count on—right the first time; apply ALARA radiation safety principles without being reminded; maintain clean, complete, real-time documentation; manage your own workflow, keep your room ready, and troubleshoot equipment issues; adapt to a high-volume schedule and prioritize tasks under minimal supervision; provide proper positioning, a clear explanation of the procedure, and genuine care for patient comfort and safety; maintain infection control standards every single time; model best practices and provide hands-on guidance to students

Requirements

ARRT certification in Radiography (R); valid state licensure current (where required); BLS certification current or in progress; Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program; proficiency in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems; working knowledge of ALARA and radiation safety principles; strong communication skills with patients, physicians, and teammates; ability to manage workflow with minimal supervision; willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture

Nice to have

1–2 years of X-ray experience; outpatient or ambulatory care experience
