Year 3 Teacher Long-Term Cover

We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed, and inspiring Year 3 Teacher to join a successful and welcoming primary school in Burgess Hill on a long-term basis until January 2027. You will take responsibility for a delightful Year 3 class, delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Responsibilities

Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the Year 3 curriculum; Creating an engaging and stimulating learning environment; Assessing and monitoring pupil progress effectively; Supporting children’s academic, social, and emotional development; Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals; Adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learners; Maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour; Contributing positively to the wider school community

Requirements

Qualified Teachers with QTS; Passionate about Key Stage 2 education; Creative, enthusiastic, and committed to pupil success; Skilled in delivering engaging lessons that motivate learners; Strong communicators with excellent interpersonal skills; Dedicated to inclusive education and ensuring every child thrives; Able to foster positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues; Willing to undergo enhanced DBS check; Provide satisfactory references; Complete all relevant safeguarding and pre-employment checks
