Development Lead Media Asset Management (MAM)

As part of Bosch Digital, you will shape the digital future of Bosch. You will be part of the +20 IT team of experts who support Bosch IT products and solutions in the area of Media Asset Management (MAM), focused on the MAM application from Aprimo. The MAM application has a strong integration with the PT Product Information Management system (PIM). As a MAM Development Lead, you will work on product data and integration topics, spending around 70% of work time on application development, configuration and support activities. You will be part of a product company contributing to end-to-end products delivered to Global OEMs.

Responsibilities

Coordinate all technical developments of Media Asset Management (MAM) solutions; Take responsibility for interface implementation and documentation in the area of PIM/MAM; Create detailed IT concepts for MAM and interfaces (PIM); Manage the technical implementation of requirements and steer internal and external service providers to ensure quality and development guidelines are met; Be an expert on data models; Assess customer requirements from a technical perspective with effort estimations; Assist in the design and development of proof of concept and prototypes; Ensure high quality of MAM solutions through acceptance tests (unit tests, usability, performance); Develop ideas for improving or optimizing PIM/MAM solutions; Serve as technical contact for the team, project management, external development partners and internal customers; Collaborate with Solution Managers and IT Architects on solution functionalities

Requirements

University degree in information technology (business informatics/computer science) or a comparable course; Several years of relevant professional experience in development, consulting and/or support of IT applications, preferably in the area of PIM/MAM; Team-oriented and flexible; Structured, analytical thinking, conceptual and self-reliant; Good knowledge of Media Asset Management (MAM) systems, related interfaces, and WEB applications; Very good knowledge of REST APIs and basic programming skills in Java; Basic Linux and SFTP knowledge; Familiarity with databases, image structures, and tools to convert images; Working knowledge of data and media formats such as tiff, video, and images; Proficiency in XML, JSON, and regex; Good written and spoken English
