Environmental Services Technician - LCH (Full Time) 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

Performs routine tasks in assigned area following a 7-step cleaning process and remaking beds after disinfecting during discharge cleaning; performs routine tasks following maintenance schedule for floors and carpets; cleans fixtures, furnishings, walls, woodwork, floors, stairwells, interior windows, elevators/tracks, and exteriors of equipment; empties trash, wipes and relines containers, operating compactor if necessary; replenishes disposable items such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels; moves and resets furnishings to original locations after job completion; performs all methods of floor care including dust mopping, wet mopping, stripping, refinishing, spot cleaning, burnishing, and extraction using specified equipment

Requirements

Ability to follow oral and written instructions; ability to complete written forms; continuous walking, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds; pushing, pulling, reaching, and climbing ladders; contact with water, cleaning solution, potentially contaminated waste, sharps, and other bio-hazardous waste; must pass a physical ability test as a condition of employment
