FinCrime Analytics Engineer - Barcelona

As our FinCrime Analytics Engineer, you'll drive our data strategy to elevate risk decision-making by ensuring all analytical data is readily available, well-structured, and fully aligned with our operational needs.

Responsibilities

Design data architecture, including the Data Mesh layer, data models and pipelines integrated into the federated data strategy; Ensure collection of high-quality data and manage high-volume data batch processing; Define and implement AI-powered agentic workflows for data transformation and exploration; Independently direct cross-functional initiatives and turn technical insights into impactful actions; Build feature store capabilities using optimized code for high data volumes; Simplify complex data models into clear, efficient data relations queryable with SQL

Requirements

5+ years in data engineering or analytics engineering; High proficiency in SQL, Python, Big Data, distributed processing, dbt, Airflow, Spark, or similar technologies; Hands-on experience building ETL data pipelines; Excellent communication skills; Fluency in English

Nice to have
