Senior Product Designer

We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our world-class Product team. Vypr is a Manchester HQ'd Private Equity/Venture Capital-backed SaaS business. Our market-leading product intelligence platform provides reliable consumer data to help manufacturers and retailers understand what their customers want to see on shelves. This role sits within Product in one of our three established feature teams. As Senior Product Designer, you'll lead on design in the 'Customer Delight' team.

Responsibilities

Lead design in the 'Customer Delight' team; Tackle new features; Define design standards and patterns; Contribute to our component library; Work closely with product managers and engineers to shape and deliver features; Work with subject matter experts and customer research to keep decisions grounded in real user needs; Work in small, multidisciplinary teams using the Shape Up methodology; Work to a 6-week delivery cadence

Requirements

A clear communicator in written work and conversations; Collaborative and comfortable working with different disciplines; Flexible approach depending on the product development process; Comfortable working in cycles; A problem solver using data or user research; Experience in an agile product team as UX designer, UI designer, interaction designer, designer or product designer; Used to delivering value to users regularly through iterative releases; Designed for websites and apps with a good grasp of platform nuances; Comfortable talking to users and knowledgeable about user research best practices; Good command of UX design, visual design and service design; Comfortable working alongside a content designer
