ServiceNow Developer I

Pax8 is hiring a ServiceNow Developer I in Makati City, Philippines, to help shape and evolve one of the most critical platforms powering our global, AI-enabled cloud marketplace. This is an exciting opportunity for a developer who enjoys solving real business challenges through automation, intelligent workflows, and platform development. This is a Hybrid role based in Makati City. During the first six months, the role is onsite before moving into the hybrid working model.

Responsibilities

Design, configure and deliver ServiceNow enhancements that solve real business challenges; Translate requirements into scalable platform solutions using ServiceNow best practices; Participate in sprint planning, demonstrations, testing activities and user enablement; Help ensure changes are thoroughly tested, documented and successfully deployed; Develop and maintain workflows, catalog items, notifications, business logic, reports and platform configurations; Build and support integrations between ServiceNow and other business systems; Contribute to release processes and platform governance; Continuously identify opportunities to improve platform performance, reliability and usability; Investigate complex issues, troubleshoot platform incidents and implement effective solutions; Support service continuity through participation in on-call rotations when required; Collaborate closely with Technology Services teams during critical incidents; Help improve operational processes and incident response practices; Develop automation capabilities that reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency; Explore AI-enabled tools and identify practical use cases that deliver value across the business; Recommend new ideas, enhancements and workflow improvements that support Pax8's technology strategy; Create clear technical documentation, knowledge articles and platform guidance; Share learning, insights and best practices with colleagues; Support a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence

Requirements

Hands-on experience developing and configuring solutions within the ServiceNow platform; Practical knowledge of ServiceNow modules such as IT Service Management, Customer Service Management, Configuration Management Database, Strategic Portfolio Management, Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management, Workplace Service Delivery, or Legal Service Delivery; Understanding of how integrations, workflow automation and platform customisation create business value; Experience with or enjoyment of technologies such as JavaScript, REST APIs, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, JSON, Glide technologies and modern web development frameworks; Experience working with access controls, business rules, client scripts, user interface actions and user interface policies; Understanding of service management principles and best practices; Ability to work comfortably in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve; Clear, structured documentation skills and ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders; ServiceNow certification such as Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, or ServiceNow Implementer; Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience; Valid right to work in Philippines
