US Hourly Range

$42 - $60 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Responsibilities

Use principles of control theory, applied physics, and applied mathematics to design GNC solutions for Anduril’s autonomous systems; Design, build, and test GNC control laws in VMS (vehicle management system) software; Build vehicle simulation models to inform design trades, assess system capabilities, and establish system margins; Contribute to the development of new capabilities to enhance existing products or bring capabilities and technologies to market; Collaborate across multiple teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality; Work on real, meaningful projects and learn from experienced professionals along the way

Requirements

Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.; Must be returning to school at the end of the internship to continue academic studies for at least one quarter or semester.; Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities, U.S. clearance eligibility may be required depending on program.; Ability to complete an in-person 12-week internship in one of our offices in summer 2027.

Nice to have

Experience in digital control systems, linear and nonlinear dynamics systems; Experience in state estimation, e.g. Kalman filter, extended Kalman filter; Proficiency in Matlab and Simulink; A desire to work on GNC solutions that have real-world impact
