Account Director

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and driven Commercial Account Director within our Sales team. In this role, you will develop relationships to grow and retain a panel of Corporate customers.

Responsibilities

Provide a full insurance broking service to existing and new clients; Gain an in-depth understanding of clients' requirements and risk management strategies, and effectively communicate these to insurers; Lead negotiations for policy renewals and new business with Insurers, securing optimal terms, including for complex or challenging cases; Conduct thorough research and analysis to select appropriate markets and assist in designing insurance programmes tailored to client requirements; Offer subject matter expertise and recommendations on placement strategies, policy structures, and current market conditions, presenting findings to clients where required; Serve as the escalation point for resolving complex insurer queries; Ensure compliance with operational procedures; Build and sustain strong working relationships with insurers, seeking regular feedback on service.

Requirements

5-10 years’ broking experience with a good knowledge of commercial insurances product ranges including commercial property, employer’s & public liability, commercial fleet, or professional indemnity; Demonstrable experience in insurance broking or underwriting for commercial/corporate accounts; CIP or studying for ACII; Proven experience in relationship management; Ability to maintain clear communication with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
