Account Executive

An exciting opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading fresh produce producers as Account Executive has arisen. With a glowing reputation across the industry, the business has well established trading relationships across the retail, foodservice, and wholesale channels. The business specialises in the growing, supplying and delivering fresh fruit. Operating from two UK sites they currently turnover in excess of £150m. The business pride themselves on offering the highest quality of service whilst ensuring investment in farming, people and their production facilities is maintained. Following significant growth, the business has created an opening for an Account Executive to join the team. As Account Executive, you will support the wider commercial team across a number of retail customer accounts including Coop, Sainsbury’s and Aldi. Reporting into the Senior National Account Manager you will work in a supportive yet autonomous environment. As well as working with the wider commercial team, you will liaise with the supply and procurement teams to ensure the best delivery to customers.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain customer relationships; Respond to customer queries and resolve any issues; Prepare daily order forecasts; Prepare and report on service level analysis; Prepare product briefs for the operations team; Analyse market data using Kantar WPO and prepare retailer presentations; Undertake and report on weekly retail reviews and customer benchmarking; Maintain appropriate financial records; Provide general administrative support for account managers; Undertake any other duty commensurate with the role

Requirements

Driven and dynamic individual with a good level of commercial acumen; Minimum of two years work experience; Motivated to progress in a fast paced, forward thinking business; Strong IT and Excel skills; Self-motivated; Keen eye for detail; Loyal individual that wants to be a real part of the company’s long-term plans and growth strategy
