We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Corporate Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging accounting professional looking to develop their technical skills while gaining exposure to a diverse portfolio of hotel and property operations across Australia and New Zealand.

About the Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support the Accounting and Finance Reporting Team with a broad range of accounting and financial administration responsibilities, including:

Expected Hours: Full time, 38 hours per week

Location: Minor Hotels Australasia, 26 Duporth Ave, Maroochydore, QLD 4558

Salary: $60,000-80,000 (excluding super)

Responsibilities

Managing accounts receivable and debtor reporting; Supporting month-end and year-end financial processes; Preparing reconciliations, financial schedules and statutory reporting; Assisting with tax, insurance and compliance requirements; Partnering with internal stakeholders to provide finance support and resolve queries; Contributing to process improvement initiatives and special projects

Requirements

Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline; Strong attention to detail and analytical skills; Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities; A proactive approach and willingness to learn; Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems
