Responsibilities

Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients; supporting with bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records; assisting with VAT returns and basic tax compliance work; preparing basic accounting computations for review by senior team members; liaising with clients and HMRC where required; gaining exposure to different areas of accountancy and developing your technical knowledge; working collaboratively with colleagues while also taking ownership of your own tasks

Requirements

Keen to build a long term career within accountancy; recently completed an AAT qualification, studying towards AAT, or have some previous experience within accounts; ambitious and eager to progress within practice accountancy; organised with strong attention to detail; confident communicator who enjoys working with people; motivated to continue learning and developing professionally
