Activities Assistant (Part Time)

Life Enrichment - Activities Assistant at Miller's Health Systems. Part Time Day Shift. As the Life Enrichment - Activities Assistant, you play a key role in patient satisfaction and well-being. You assist the Life Enrichment Director in planning and executing activities to enrich the lives of patients within the facility. You make one-on-one visits with patients and encourage participation in various activities. You interact with volunteers. You may be required to transport patients to scheduled events away from the facility. Schedule: Every Other Weekend (Sat. & Sun.) and Wednesdays; 8 hours a week.

Responsibilities

Assist the Life Enrichment Director in planning and executing activities to enrich the lives of patients within the facility; Make one-on-one visits with patients and encourage participation in various activities; Interact with volunteers; Transport patients to scheduled events away from the facility when required

Requirements

Good communication skills; Current driver's license and good driving record; Passionate about delivering excellent customer service; Professional in appearance and behavior; Friendly and enjoy building relationships with new people; Comfortable interacting with a variety of personalities; Successfully complete pre-employment process and screening; Able to pass physical examination; Satisfactorily pass required orientation and training; Able to follow written and/or verbal instructions
