Aesthetician PT

The Aesthetician is responsible for delivering safe and effective treatments to clients while providing an exceptional customer experience. This role includes performing laser-based or aesthetic procedures, educating clients on skincare and post-treatment care, and maintaining compliance with medical and organizational standards. The NP collaborates with the clinic team to ensure a welcoming and professional environment while upholding the highest standards of safety and care. Success in this role requires clinical expertise, a passion for client care, and the ability to support the clinic in achieving its overall performance goals. Reports To: Clinic Manager.

Responsibilities

Perform non-invasive treatments, including laser therapies, under medical protocols and company standards; Assess client eligibility for treatments by reviewing medical history, obtaining informed consent, and addressing client questions or concerns; Administer treatments with precision and care; Maintain detailed and accurate client treatment records; Educate clients on benefits, risks, expected outcomes, and post-treatment care; Build trust and rapport with clients; Deliver exceptional customer service; Address client concerns promptly and professionally; Partner with clinic team to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient treatment environment; Communicate effectively with clinic staff; Support clinic goals by promoting additional services, skincare products, or treatment packages; Follow all safety protocols and infection control standards; Regularly inspect and maintain equipment, documenting and reporting issues; Stay updated on industry best practices through continuing education; Participate in training sessions or continuing education; Assist with special events or promotional activities; Provide mentorship or guidance to new staff as needed; Assist with administrative tasks such as inventory checks or restocking treatment supplies; Support other team members during peak times or staffing shortages; Collaborate with clinic leadership on treatment protocols or client needs; Participate in quality assurance initiatives; Maintain flexibility in working hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays; Work on-site during assigned shifts

Requirements

Active and unrestricted Aesthetician license in the state of employment; Laser Certification as required by state regulations; Long periods of sitting and standing; Ability to lift and move inventory and other clinic assets; Available and able to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) regularly; Minimum of 3 days available to work per week, one of which must be a Friday or Monday; Available to work during Clinic Operating Hours (as posted on website, subject to change); Scheduled 11 hours, working 10 hours after breaks; Able to work a minimum of 1 day per week, regularly 1-2 days per week, and able to work up to 3 days per week; Able to commit to a schedule made 60 days in advance; Reliably commute to home clinic location and periodically travel to other clinics to provide coverage as needed

Nice to have

Experience with appointment scheduling platforms such as Zenoti or comparable tools; Experience in aesthetics, dermatology, customer service, or sales; Continuing education in aesthetics or skincare preferred; Prior experience in a clinical or aesthetic setting preferred but not required; Knowledge of skin types, treatment indications, and pre/post-care requirements; Advanced interpersonal skills to create a positive and comfortable client experience; Strong verbal and written communication skills to educate clients; Ability to effectively problem solve; Strong team collaboration; Clinically competent, professional, compassionate; Attention to detail in following medical protocols; Strong listening and conversational skills
