Responsibilities

Managing and leading a team of tax professionals, delegating tasks and responsibilities, and overseeing the work of team members; Developing and implementing tax strategies and staying up-to-date with changing tax laws and regulations; Providing consulting services to clients on tax-related issues such as mergers and acquisitions, tax planning, and corporate restructuring; Conducting tax research; Preparing and reviewing tax returns for clients to ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations; Communicating with clients and stakeholders, including tax authorities and other regulatory bodies; Managing client relationships and ensuring client satisfaction; Training and mentoring team members

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Recent experience working in a public accounting firm; 6+ years of federal tax consulting and/or compliance experience in accounting; Experience in S-Corp, Partnership returns, Individual and Corporate; Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Nice to have

Master's degree in Taxation; CPA
