Aftermarket Sales Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Aftermarket Sales Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with commercial insight, identifying upgrade opportunities, conducting site surveys, and developing customized system improvement proposals for Oil & Gas metering control systems. This role plays a vital part in keeping our customers' metering systems running efficiently, reliably, and in compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue aftermarket opportunities such as upgrades, retrofits, and enhancements of metering control systems; Conduct on-site surveys that evaluate existing metering systems and uncover potential improvements; Prepare survey reports, technical recommendations, and upgrade proposals; Develop and present technical and commercial proposals aligned with customer requirements and company strategy; Collaborate with the Sales Manager to plan and execute sales strategies; Maintain strong customer relationships to ensure high client satisfaction; Coordinate with internal engineering and service teams to ensure execution of awarded projects

Requirements

Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry; Strong technical understanding of PLCs, HMIs, and Flow Computers used in metering applications; Excellent communication, presentation, and technical report writing skills; Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering (or a related field); Currently resides in Saudi Arabia (preferred)

Nice to have

Prior experience in aftermarket, proposal, or sales engineering; Experience in automation, instrumentation, or metering control systems
