AI Associate - m/f/d

Full-time, 12-month AI Associate program at the Berlin HQ for people who want to understand AI rather than just use it. The role begins in customer support, where the employee investigates how large language models and cloud software behave in production, explains issues to customers, and takes on cross-team sidequests. The aim is for the employee to understand the platform and operations deeply by month twelve, with the possibility of a permanent position in a business team. Salaries are tied to levels and the expected range is narrowed down early in the process.

Responsibilities

Front-line customer support handling tickets end-to-end across model behavior, API integrations, enterprise compliance, billing, and access control; Investigate what is happening under the hood by reproducing issues, comparing model behavior, and reading logs and API responses; Explain AI to customers in plain language; Take on cross-team sidequests such as small inbound sales calls, customer workshops, documentation, and internal automation; Escalate to engineering and product, document edge cases, and report bugs; Improve support with AI by proposing workflow improvements and building and testing internal AI tooling

Requirements

Availability to start full-time and work 100% on-site at the Berlin office for the full 12 months; Work permit for Germany; Technical or analytical grounding (studies or hands-on experience in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field, or a track record of building technical projects; curiosity about how AI and cloud systems work is required); Communicate clearly and professionally in English; Interest in how AI works; Interest in cloud software, APIs, and inference; Enjoys front-line customer support and working through a busy ticket queue; Enjoys breaking down technical or operational problems; High agency and full ownership of tickets; Experiments with new models, automations, and tools; Kind and cares about colleagues

Nice to have

German language skills; Studies or hands-on experience in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field; Track record of building technical projects
