Latch builds rigorous scientific benchmarks for AI agents across biology, working with frontier labs and pharma to measure whether agents can handle real biological workflows. The role focuses on rare and/or progressive diseases (excluding cancer), and involves building ground-truth benchmark datasets and defining strategy across multiple benchmarks in an early team.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the technical approach for evaluating how AI agents can help diagnose, treat, conduct research and perform target discovery in rare and progressive disease; Build ground-truth benchmark datasets drawn from studies, experience, and novel work; Rigorously test whether agents can perform the critical analytical and interpretative steps that expert scientists do; Define strategy across multiple benchmarksRequirements
