Responsible for ensuring products are suitable and abiding by the standards and regulations for the fire suppression market in all regions where Amerex products are sold.

Responsibilities

Work cross-functionally with Sales, Trade Compliance, Quality, Product Management, Procurement, and Product Development to resolve Compliance issues and Customer requests.; Perform research to understand, learn, and know requirements for product compliance for fire suppression products.; Work with regulatory agencies such as: UL, FM, etc. for product approvals/compliance and associated listings.; Create technical documents and instruction literature as needed.; Review and approve product design changes for adherence to Compliance standards.; Schedule and support audits and site visits by regulatory agencies.; Provide certification documentation to Amerex Sales team and customers as requested.; Ability to handle a dynamic workload: from multi-tasking to very focused detail-oriented work during critical projects.; Willingness to work and assist with other engineering team projects as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor of Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Materials, or Fire Protection Engineering Degree from an ABET accredited university.; Excellent team communication, time management, human relations, and organizational skills.; Excellent interpersonal skills, proficiency in written and verbal communication.; High degree of attention to detail, demonstrates accuracy.; Self-directed, energetic, dependable, and thorough.; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.; Knowledge of Autodesk, SolidWorks, or other CAD software.
