Application Programmer (EBS)

The Application Programmer will provide experience and knowledge of sustainment lifecycle management activities for programs and project operations. This role supports the design, development, testing, and maintenance of computer programs to ensure applications meet user and system requirements. You will work with systems analysts and designers to research and document requirements, analyze objectives, translate solutions into detailed program specifications, and assist with program design and modifications. This position also involves supporting testing, documentation, and reporting to ensure the smooth sustainment of system software applications. This position is performed in a 100% remote, collaborative environment supporting government development activities.

Responsibilities

Provide experience and knowledge of sustainment lifecycle management activities for programs and project operations; Participate in the design of software tools and subsystems to support reuse and domain analysis; Assist in the management, development, testing, and maintenance of computer programs to ensure user requirements are met; Collaborate with systems analysts and/or designers to research and document computer user requirements; Analyze objectives and problems identified by analysts and/or designers; Translate solutions provided by systems designers into detailed program specifications; Assist with the preparation of documentation for other programmers, users, and support staff; Support program design activities, including the definition of data structures and error message arrangements; Assist with the modification and documentation of program code to correct errors or enhance application capabilities; Support application testing and prepare reports on the status, operation, and maintenance of system software applications

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline and 8+ years of relevant experience; Experience and knowledge of sustainment lifecycle management activities for programs and project operations; Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority; Must possess an Active Secret Clearance; DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level - I (A+ CE, CCNA Security, CND, Network Security, SSCP) OR higher (IAT II or III); DLA CE Cert IA Role/Function: MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 1; Regular availability during standard business hours; Maintain a secure remote workspace and comply with cybersecurity and data protection requirements, including Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)
