Aprio PH - Accounting Manager, E-Commerce

Responsibilities

Oversees preparation, review, and timely delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with US GAAP or accrual accounting standards; Enforces workflow where baseline team production is taught, reviewed, and validated by the manager; Supervises daily core accounting functions including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing cycles; Manages chart of accounts structures, accounting treatments, and system configurations; Implements localized workflow adjustments and daily automation to drive team efficiency; Serves as definitive technical accounting authority and commits to ongoing learning of US GAAP and tech tools; Sets clear performance expectations, monitors staff resource allocation, and provides regular performance coaching; Partners with internal U.S. client leads to manage project progression, staffing capacity, and team performance metrics; Implements internal control frameworks, reviews control effectiveness, executes remediation plans, and manages year-end U.S. 1099 compliance and filing process; Translates complex financial results into clear narratives highlighting cash flow trends and working capital metrics; Aligns baseline financial infrastructure to support growing client businesses and tracks deliverables against contractual commitments

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting; 5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience; experience managing accounting operations and team performance at an Accounting Supervisor or Manager level; strong knowledge of US GAAP, including foundational revenue recognition and multi-entity environments; advanced proficiency in financial systems (e.g., QBO, Xero, NetSuite, AI-native finance tools) and financial reporting applications; professional English communication skills

Nice to have

CPA, CMA, or CGMA; shared services, BPO, or outsourced client accounting services (CAS) environment catering to U.S. clients; e-commerce, digital retail, or inventory-based business accounting experience; Shopify and A2X experience
