To strengthen our team in The Netherlands, we are looking for an Area Product Manager for Thermal Analysis .

Responsibilities

Management of existing customers and generation of new accounts through prospecting, lead generation and follow up in different industries; Market development; Effective territory management in a broad base of industries and applications.; Translate customer process requirements into tailored measurement solutions; Direct responsibility for sales negotiations and handling of sales projects.; Support the development of customer applications.; Participation at conferences and exhibitions.; Support the development of marketing communications with customers.; Visiting customer sites on a regular basis to give sales presentations, perform instrument demonstrations, installations and train customers on the correct use of their equipment.

Requirements

Suitable candidates should hold a degree (or equivalent) in chemistry, physics or related discipline.; At least two years of experience of successfully selling Analytical Instrumentation. Comparable instrument sales experience would be an advantage but full training will be provided.; Strong communication and negotiation skills.; Ability to effectively communicate with Project managers, plant managers and technicians.; Team player; Availability to travel throughout Netherlands and occasionally to our Headquarters in Austria for training and business meetings.; Located in the middle of the Netherlands within easy access to main road network.; Fluency in Dutch and English (spoken and written) is required, additional language skills are a plus.
