Area Sales Manager

Area Sales Manager to join a leading supplier of gourmet foods and ingredients in the UK. The role is responsible for driving profitable growth across their customer base in the South London region. This includes managing relationships with existing customers high end hospitality customers such as Michelin Star restaurants and 4 & 5 star hotels, Chocolatiers, Bakers and Ice-cream manufacturers. In addition to developing the existing business, you will be tasked with identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in line with the company’s overall strategy. You will work closely with the wider Sales and Technical teams to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service and support.

Responsibilities

Driving profitable growth across customer base in the South London region; Managing relationships with existing high-end hospitality customers such as Michelin Star restaurants and 4 & 5 star hotels, Chocolatiers, Bakers and Ice-cream manufacturers; Developing existing business and identifying and pursuing new business opportunities; Working closely with the wider Sales and Technical teams to ensure customers receive the highest level of service and support

Requirements

Strong background in sales and account management; Proven track record of success in the Foodservice / Hospitality sectors; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to build and maintain long-lasting relationships with customers; Highly organized and driven; Passion for exceeding customer expectations and achieving sales targets
