Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort are looking for an enthusiastic and service-driven Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our team on a full-time basis.

In this key leadership role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our restaurant and event spaces, ensuring guests enjoy first-class service and presentation every time. You’ll lead by example, inspire your team, and work closely with the kitchen to maintain our high standards.

Shift Details (subject to change)

- Breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts.
- Rotating roster across Monday through Sunday.
- Split shifts may be required on some days.

Nestled in the heart of the Hunter Valley wine region, Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort is a stunning destination surrounded by rolling vineyards, championship golf courses, and breathtaking natural scenery.

Responsibilities

Oversee the smooth and efficient daily operations of the restaurant and bar.; Promote the resort’s food and beverage offerings with strong knowledge of menus and features.; Collaborate with the kitchen during service to ensure high-quality food and presentation.; Lead, mentor, and support Food & Beverage Attendants, including training and development.

Requirements

Previous supervisory experience (12+ months) in a similar role.; Minimum 3 years’ experience within a restaurant or hotel environment.; A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.; Excellent written and verbal communication skills.; Exceptional customer service skills with a positive, guest-focused attitude.; High levels of self-motivation, initiative, and confidence.; Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar (preferred but not essential).; Solid knowledge of alcohol and beverage service (preferred but not essential).; Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
