Assistant Food & Beverage Restaurant Manager

Responsible for successfully executing all operations in two departments (Front Office and Food and Beverage/Culinary or Engineering/Maintenance and Housekeeping) and managing staff. Strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department. Ensures that standards and procedures are being followed. Leads specific team while assisting with meeting or exceeding property goals.

Responsibilities

Executing all operations in Front Office and Food and Beverage/Culinary or Engineering/Maintenance and Housekeeping; managing staff; continually improving guest and employee satisfaction; maximizing financial performance of the department; ensuring standards and procedures are followed; leading specific team while assisting with meeting or exceeding property goals; providing excellent customer service; assisting employees in understanding guests' needs; ensuring employees understand brand service culture; responding timely to customer service department requests; implementing property emergency plan; providing a safe working environment; managing property operations and department budgets; conducting human resources activities

Requirements

High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area; OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years experience in the guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area
