Assistant Manager (01577)- 309 A Mid Rivers Mall Drive

We are seeking a professional and decisive Assistant Manager to join our team at our Mid Rivers Mall location in St. Peters. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting daily operations, leading a dedicated team, and ensuring an exceptional experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, motivational leadership abilities, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Supervise and mentor team members, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster professional development; Support store management in achieving sales targets and operational goals through effective planning and execution; Manage staff scheduling, time-off requests, and ensure adequate coverage to maintain service standards; Oversee inventory management, stock rotation, and merchandising to maintain product availability and store presentation; Monitor and maintain compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and local requirements; Assist in training new employees during onboarding and provide ongoing skill development opportunities; Address customer concerns and resolve issues professionally to ensure satisfaction and loyalty; Analyze performance metrics and reports to identify opportunities for improvement and operational efficiency; Support the management team with administrative tasks, documentation, and communication; Maintain a positive, professional demeanor and model company values to the team

Requirements

Proven supervisory or assistant management experience in a retail or commercial environment; Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse teams; Excellent organizational and time management abilities; Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail management software; Demonstrated customer service excellence and problem-solving capabilities; Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising best practices; Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed; Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards; Conflict resolution and negotiation skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Nice to have
