Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations. This position will manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence and/or when working opposing shifts. The Assistant Manager will be expected to lead the store team members in servicing customers.

Responsibilities

Support the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations; Manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence and/or when working opposing shifts; Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers; Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom; Ensure retail sales counter is adequately staffed during peak business hours; Assist store manager in setting team member goals, providing feedback, coaching/mentoring; Assist in hiring process by completing recruiting tasks, scheduling and participating in interviews; Ensure buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders are processed timely; Ensure retail returns and exchanges are processed efficiently and refunds accurate; Perform store opening/closing duties, including day end procedures, bank deposits, and security; Assist store manager in maintaining store building, parking lot, signage, lighting, hardware, equipment, and delivery vehicles; All other duties as assigned

Requirements

Sales Specialist Training; Assistant Manager Certification; RSS Certification

Nice to have

Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
