Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations. This position will manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence and/or when working opposing shifts. The Assistant Manager will be expected to lead the store team members in servicing customers.

Responsibilities

Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service; Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom; Ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed; Assist the store manager in setting team member goals, providing feedback, coaching/mentoring team members; Assist in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks, scheduling and participating in interviews; Ensure buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders are processed in a timely manner; Utilize electronic outside purchase order ledger to ensure special orders and outside purchases are handled efficiently; Ensure retail customer returns and exchanges are processed efficiently and friendly; Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, are invoiced before product leaves the store; Ensure Zipline messages are communicated and Image Maker and merchandising tasks are delegated and completed; Make sure team members are complying with company policies; Perform all store opening/closing duties; Assist the store manager in maintaining the store building and related equipment

Requirements

Sales Specialist Training; Assistant Manager Certification; RSS Certification

Nice to have

Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired); Bilingual candidates
