Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations. This position will manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence and/or when working opposing shifts. The Assistant Manager will be expected to lead the store team members in servicing customers.

Responsibilities

Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service; Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom; Ensure adequate staffing during peak retail business hours; Assist store manager in setting team member goals and providing feedback; Assist in hiring process; Ensure buy online/ship to store, hub, store to store transfers, and DC add orders are processed; Ensure retail customer returns and exchanges are processed efficiently; Perform store opening/closing duties; Assist store manager in maintaining the store building, parking lot, equipment, and delivery vehicles

Requirements

Sales Specialist Training; Assistant Manager Certification; RSS Certification

Nice to have

Bilingual candidates; Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
