Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations. This position will manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence and/or when working opposing shifts. The Assistant Manager will be expected to lead the store team members in servicing customers.

Responsibilities

Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service; Supervise customer service levels on retail showroom; Ensure retail sales counter is adequately staffed during peak business hours; Assist store manager in setting team member goals and coaching/mentoring; Assist in hiring process by recruiting, interviewing, and evaluating candidates; Ensure telephone answered according to company policy; Ensure buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders are processed timely; Utilize outside purchase order ledger for special orders; Ensure retail customer returns and exchanges are processed efficiently; Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store; Ensure Zipline messages communicated and merchandising tasks completed; Ensure team members comply with company policies; Perform store opening/closing duties including deposits and security; Assist store manager in maintaining store building, parking lot, equipment, and vehicles; All other duties as assigned

Requirements

Sales Specialist Training; Assistant Manager Certification; RSS Certification

Nice to have

Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired); Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
