Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations. This position will manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence and/or when working opposing shifts. The Assistant Manager will be expected to lead the store team members in servicing customers.

Responsibilities

Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers; Supervise customer service levels on retail showroom; Ensure retail sales counter is adequately staffed during peak hours; Assist store manager in setting team member goals and providing feedback; Assist in hiring process; Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy; Ensure buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders are processed timely; Utilize electronic outside purchase order ledger; Ensure retail customer returns and exchanges are processed efficiently; Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store; Ensure Zipline messages are communicated and merchandising tasks delegated; Ensure team member compliance with company policies; Perform store opening/closing duties; Assist store manager in maintaining store building, parking lot, exterior signage/lighting, computer hardware, service/test equipment, and delivery vehicles; Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

Sales Specialist Training; Assistant Manager Certification; RSS Certification

Nice to have

Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
