Job Purpose and Dimensions

Develop, qualify, validate, design-in, and support next-generation IC products for applications such as Opamp, interface and Isolation chip.

Key Performance Measures

- The project development responsibility: design schedule control and creativity.
- Product development: chip and analog block size, finish design on time
- Design quality: silicon revision due to design bugs.

Responsibilities

Design, debug and test new products and support old products.; Use different kinds of design tools to design and verify analog circuit.; Work closely with back-end designers to correctly implement analog designs to layout and do post-layout simulation.; Work closely with VE/ATE testing engineers at lab for chip debugging, testing and necessary customer support.; Understand and verify any new manufacture process or flow.; Write block level design spec according to chip spec. Write design guide of block level.; Prove design to satisfy the chip spec through checklist, simulation result in design review.

Requirements

MS EE or related field; Strong fundamentals in analog IC design; MSEE Degree with Electrical Engineering background (or relevant discipline).; Understanding of basic electronic circuits (amplifiers, filters, ADC/DAC, etc.).; Understand analog IC design flow.; Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot circuits.; Good verbal and written communication skills, ability to work collaboratively within a team.; Previous Lab experience with circuit testing is a plus.
