Automation Tech Lead

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Automation Tech Lead to lead the technical direction of our automation infrastructure and drive the adoption of scalable, reliable, and maintainable automation solutions. The role combines hands-on engineering, technical leadership, architecture, and mentoring, working closely with QA, R&D, DevOps, and Product teams.

Responsibilities

Define and drive the technical strategy and architecture of automation; Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks; Develop automated tests using Python and pytest; Integrate and maintain automation within CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins; Define automation best practices, coding standards, and quality guidelines; Improve automation stability, execution time, coverage, and maintainability; Lead debugging and root-cause analysis of complex automation and system issues; Mentor automation engineers and conduct code reviews; Collaborate with R&D to improve product testability and quality; Evaluate and introduce new technologies and approaches, including AI-based testing and automation

Requirements

5+ years of experience in QA, test automation, or software development; Strong hands-on experience with Python and pytest; Experience working with complex multidisciplinary systems and products across software, hardware, and networking domains; Experience with Linux, Docker/Kubernetes, REST APIs, networking, or distributed systems; Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks; Strong knowledge of Git and CI/CD, preferably Jenkins; Experience with AI-assisted development or testing; Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes; Experience with API, integration, system, and end-to-end testing; Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills; Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments; Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills; Ability to lead technical initiatives and influence teams without formal authority; B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
