Automotive Service Advisor

Berman Hyundai is looking to add an experienced Service Advisor to the team!

Job Title: Service Advisor

Location: Lincolnwood, IL

Pay: $115,000+ year - Commission pay plan

Schedule

- Full-time (40 hours, 5 days/week)
- Sundays always off
- Second day off alternates weekly (Set Weekday off vs. Saturday off)
- Every other weekend completely off

Responsibilities

Greet customers promptly and courteously upon arrival at the service drive; Obtain customer and vehicle information; Listen attentively to customers' concerns and accurately document their vehicle service needs; Determine and recommend necessary maintenance based on age, mileage and history of the vehicle.; Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts.; Keep customers informed of the status of their vehicle repairs and address any questions or concerns they may have; Comfortably and clearly explain all completed work and charges to the customer; Coordinate service appointments and ensure timely completion of service orders; Collaborate closely with service technicians, parts department, and other dealership personnel to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction

Requirements

Dealership Service Advisor experience, required; Tekion and Hyundai experience, highly preferred.; Clean driving record and valid driver’s license; Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers; Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately document service requests and recommendations; Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
