Backend Developer (Node.js)

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.; Build, enhance, and support RESTful APIs.; Design, implement, and maintain asynchronous messaging workflows using RabbitMQ or similar technologies.; Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications running on AWS.; Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions.; Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions.; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software in Agile environments.; Promote engineering best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of backend services.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.; 4+ years of professional experience developing backend applications with Node.js.; Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs.; Experience working with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, Amazon SQS, or similar platforms.; Experience deploying and maintaining applications on AWS.; Experience building distributed systems and/or Microservices architectures.; Experience using Git and working within Agile development environments.; Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.; Excellent communication and collaboration skills.; Upper-Intermediate English proficiency or higher.; 4+ years of Node.js development experience.; Experience developing REST APIs.; Experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, Amazon SQS, or similar messaging technologies.; AWS experience.; Experience with Distributed Systems or Microservices.; Git and Agile experience.; Upper-Intermediate English proficiency.
