Backend Developer

We are looking for a talented Backend Developer for the ScaleUp team to join our team.

Responsibilities

Develop backend applications; Refine integrations between applications; Analyze and resolve technical issues; Deploy new releases; Act as a key technical reference within the backend team in our Istanbul office, providing technical expertise, supporting team coordination, and ensuring alignment with best practices

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field; Minimum of 3 year of experience delivering production-ready backend code in an Agile team environment; Solid experience with RESTful APIs, event-driven microservices, and message queues (e.g. Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ), ideally on a cloud-native/serverless stack; Proficient in Node.js (TypeScript) or .NET (C#, .NET Core); Knowledge of databases like MongoDB and PostgreSQL; Experience with Redis and effective caching strategies; Proficient in Git version control, including branching and merging strategies

Nice to have

Experience with microservice architectures and event-driven systems; Hands-on project experience with GCP, AWS, or other cloud platforms; Familiarity with whitelabel system structures and chatbot technologies; Experience working with .NET / C#
